The estimated annual salary for this position is £37,800, with the potential for an additional skills allowance of up to £1,500.

About the Job

In this role, you will conduct thorough assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You will produce detailed reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions determine a person's eligibility for benefits. This position requires strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills, which will be developed through regular feedback and supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to gather information on a person's disability or health condition
  • Produce Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports to support the DWP in determining benefit eligibility
  • Develop and maintain strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills through ongoing training and supervision
Requirements
  • Holding a valid HCPC registration number
  • At least one year of post-registration experience gained within or outside of an NHS ambulance trust
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports
