About this role:

We are seeking a qualified science teacher to join our team in a special secondary school in Exeter. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching science to students with social, emotional and mental health challenges.

Key responsibilities:

  • Teaching science mainly at KS3 level, with some teaching up to GCSE level
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Managing challenging behaviour and working with students who may have experienced trauma or have ADHD, autism or other behavioural needs
