About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Lookers Audi Newcastle. As a key member of our Service team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough vehicle health checks using the latest technology to identify any issues or potential problems.
  • Perform vehicle services in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Carry out any additional repairs once authorized by the customer, ensuring all work is properly documented and warranty repairs are completed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Take customers' vehicles out on road tests to ensure all faults are rectified and the vehicle is safe to drive.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working within a workshop environment is essential.
  • Self-motivation, ambition, and a willingness to learn are key qualities we are looking for in our ideal candidate.
  • A full UK driving license is required, and completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification is essential.
  • MOT License is a bonus, but not essential.
  • Previous experience working with the Audi brand is advantageous, but full brand accreditation training can be provided.
