We are seeking an experienced Global Legal Advisor to join our team in the Manor Royal Business District. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a rapidly growing, global business, helping to develop and enhance the legal function.
The role will primarily involve support for international M&A activity, including legal responsibility for a pipeline of transactions. You will work closely with both the Group and divisional legal teams, as well as key functions and management across the business, to create value and generate growth through delivering the acquisitions pipeline.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support international M&A activity, from smaller bolt-on acquisitions to new country entries and major transactions, acting as supporting legal adviser.
- Provide general legal support and advice across a range of areas, including commercial, IP, IT, procurement, litigation, governance, and compliance.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will have strong analytical skills, experience of dealing with complex legal issues, and the ability to deliver straightforward, pragmatic, action-oriented advice. You will also be able to think strategically and creatively, identify and resolve legal issues, and work effectively in a dynamic, international context.
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer in England & Wales (solicitor or barrister) with 1-3 years PQE.
- Considerable M&A experience, preferably with international exposure.
- Deep knowledge, understanding, and experience of advising on and managing legal support for M&A transactions.
