About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Gas Engineer to join our team at British Gas Service & Repairs. As a Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for the service and repair of gas appliances and central heating systems, working with our domestic customers to keep them warm and safe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and repair gas appliances and central heating systems
  • Work with domestic customers to identify and resolve issues
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnoses of gas appliances and central heating systems
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs on different boilers and central heating systems
  • Electrical knowledge, including wiring and fault finding on S-plan, Y-plan, and combination systems and boilers
  • Current ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1) NVQ, C&G or equivalent in plumbing or heating
  • A full UK driving licence with 6 points or less
