Transforming Insurance Product Governance

At Disability Solutions, we're seeking a highly skilled Product Leader, Wording Governance to join our team in London. As a key member of our Product Governance & Architecture team, you'll play a crucial role in driving the development and execution of our global product strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the roll-out of our AI-powered policy review tool, WIT, across Property and NR&C lines of business, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with Master Product Elements.
  • Coordinate the building and ongoing maintenance of our digital Wording/Clause Library within WIT, guaranteeing up-to-date, compliant, and best-practice wordings/clauses.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for LoB Leadership and Underwriters, providing expert guidance on wording/clause library-related queries, training materials, and sessions.
  • Support the governance of WIT, including collating required and requested changes.
  • Assist in the roll-out and supervision of our new global Wording Governance cross-LoB.
  • Contribute to general Wording and Product Governance tasks, such as Functional Rules, regulatory Product Reviews, compliance requests, and more.


Requirements:
  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, or a comparable discipline.
  • Completion of professional insurance qualifications (e.g., CII/CPCU).
  • Technical knowledge of insurance products, coverages, and multinational programs.
  • Experience in digitalizing contract wordings or working with digital contracts.
  • Technical expertise in insurance wordings and coverage.
  • In-depth knowledge of policy wordings, including multinational programs.
  • Legal and Regulatory: knowledge of local laws, regulations, and issues related to industrial insurance products.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify and resolve issues, and quickly identify guiding principles in complex scenarios.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally.
  • Fluent English skills.
