As a Prototyping and Tooling Manager at Limbs & Things, you will play a key role in the development of L&T products from early prototypes to their final production version.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the prototyping and tooling process for new medical simulation education products
  • Collaborating with the Project Lead to meet agreed milestone deadlines
  • Ensuring the quality and accuracy of prototypes
  • Assisting the Project Lead in testing prototypes readiness for transfer into Engineering/Production
  • Managing CAD files, ensuring the CAD data is robust and well-organised
  • Supporting the project lead with planning and managing your work accurately
  • Participating in evaluation sessions, writing reports and supporting modifications
  • Creating product and part spec drawings for transfer into Production (CAD)
  • Contributing to creating accurate NPD BOMs
  • Developing assembly and packing instructions
  • Building effective relationships with external suppliers and in-house tooling team
