About The Role

We're seeking a skilled 3.5 Tonne Van Driver (trailer towing) to join our Service Centre operations team at Sunbelt Rentals UK. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in delivering our promise of quality products and services on time, every time for our customers.

As a Van Driver, you'll be responsible for transporting a wide range of plant hire equipment, from excavators and telehandlers to generators and scissor lifts, to various locations across the country. You'll also be required to demonstrate how to operate the equipment, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.

We're looking for someone with excellent customer service and communication skills, who can build strong relationships with our customers and represent Sunbelt Rentals in a positive manner. You'll need to be flexible and adaptable, with a strong commitment to health and safety and a willingness to learn and develop your skills.

As a valued member of our team, you'll benefit from a good work/life balance, working a Monday-Friday 42.5 hour week with the potential for overtime by mutual agreement. About You

We're looking for someone with a clean driving licence (no more than six points), a trailer towing licence entitlement and experience, and a strong commitment to health and safety. You'll need to be able to work effectively as part of a team, with good communication and customer service skills. What You'll Need

  • A fully competent driver with licence category B
  • Trailer towing licence entitlement and experience
  • Licence category E with Driver CPC and Digital Driver Card (training may be available)
