Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Co-ordinator for Leisure and Social Activities to join our team at Careline Lifestyles. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by providing engaging leisure activities and promoting social interaction.

Careline Lifestyles is a specialist provider of residential and nursing care for adults with acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions, mental health needs, learning and complex physical disabilities. Our family-run business has been established for over 30 years and we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality services that meet the unique needs of each individual.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Organise and deliver a range of leisure activities that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents, including handicrafts, games, quizzes, cooking, reading, and outings.
  2. Support residents in maintaining and developing their social, emotional, communication, and independent living skills through various activities and initiatives.
  3. Recognise and respect the strengths, abilities, and skills of each resident and work collaboratively with them to maximise their development and participation.
  4. Promote independence, choice, freedom of movement, and respect individual rights and preferences in all aspects of care.
  5. Foster strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of services and enhance the overall quality of life for our residents.
Requirements
  • A valid qualification in social care or a related field (e.g., NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Proven experience in planning and delivering leisure activities and promoting social interaction among vulnerable adults.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
  • Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
