What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a highly motivated and numerate individual to join our team as an Actuarial Apprentice. As an Apprentice, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, develop your analytical skills, and gain a deep understanding of the pensions industry.

You'll be working closely with our experienced professionals to deliver high-quality results and contribute to the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Actuarial Apprentice, you'll be responsible for:

  1. Applying actuarial skills and concepts to calculate the value of pension and other benefits for employers and trustees.
  2. Financial modelling and risk analysis to help clients understand their future pension obligations and principal risks.
  3. Advising clients on their pensions strategy and how to manage these risks, both on a day-to-day basis and when considering a long-term objective.
  4. Designing and implementing employee communication programmes.
  5. Helping clients understand and manage accounting, tax and legislative changes that affect their pension schemes.
  6. Contributing to proposals for new business opportunities.
  7. Attending client meetings and explaining the team's work.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  4. Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
