Mechanical Technician Required
Bedford, £32,000 - £36,000 (Plus Overtime - Up to 38 days Holiday + Banks, Company pension, employee assistance programme, private health insurance)
About the Company
Our client is a leading researcher in the aerospace industry, supplying into various sectors. They operate via innovative methods and are seeking a Mechanical Technician.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct PPM inspections and monitoring of equipment in use, including meter readings.
- Work on a Transonic Wind Tunnel and associated equipment, featuring rotating machinery, large valves, pipework, water pumps, and air compressors.
- Install new mechanical equipment on site.
- Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures.
Requirements
- Time-served Mechanical Apprenticeship.
- Mentor apprentices and less experienced employees when required.
