Job Description:

We are seeking an ambitious Audit Senior to join our team in Reading. As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in supporting audit assignments from planning to completion for a range of clients. You will prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with UK audit standards. You will also assist senior staff and managers with fieldwork, client meetings, and audit tasks. Additionally, you will mentor junior staff, reviewing their work and helping them develop their skills. You will manage a portfolio of clients, liaising with them to gather information and resolve queries. Your goal will be to ensure audit assignments are completed on time and within budget.

Candidate Requirements:

* ACA or ACCA part-qualified or studying, with experience in a UK accountancy practice
* Strong knowledge of UK audit processes and regulations
* Proven experience managing client portfolios and delivering high-quality work
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to mentor and support junior staff in their professional development
