Dentons is seeking a skilled Risk Analyst to join its new business intake team in Europe. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in conflicts of interest, compliance checks, and risk management.

About the Role

You will be responsible for conducting complex conflict searches, identifying sanctions issues, and liaising with partners and teams to resolve commercial and legal conflict issues. Your duties will also include refreshing due diligence for existing clients and obtaining conflict clearances from other Dentons regions worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing confidential information, handling complexity protection, and reviewing engagement letters and contracts.
  • Supporting the team and risk management on various tasks and projects, including client terms review, technology upgrades, team training, and policy drafting.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in law or a related field.
  • Prior experience analyzing and resolving conflicts of interest and managing confidential information issues acquired in an international law firm.
  • Excellent analytical skills, ability to identify and analyze complex issues, and provide practical solutions.
  • Effective communication skills, dealing confidently with internal clients worldwide, and persuasively communicating the Risk position.
