About the Position:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs. As a Key Stage 2 Teacher at our SEN school in Wood Green, you will have the chance to design and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse learning styles of students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To design and deliver lessons that meet the individual needs of students with special educational needs.
  • To collaborate with a team of SEN professionals to adapt teaching methods and resources.
  • To track student progress and adjust instructional strategies as necessary.
  • To participate in professional development opportunities focused on SEN strategies and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in KS2 teaching.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching with the flexibility to tailor lessons and activities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that promotes equal opportunities for all students.
  • A current and clear Enhanced DBS check is required.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is £45,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits, including a comprehensive induction program, ongoing training and development opportunities, and a supportive and inclusive working environment.
