Heavy Vehicle Technician

We are seeking an experienced HGV mechanic to join our team in Newport, Wales. As a workshop technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing commercial vehicles from our depot.
The ideal candidate will have a City & Guilds Level 3 qualification or equivalent and a full UK driving licence. A HGV licence is desirable but not essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Service, maintenance and repair of various HGV commercial vehicles
- MOT preparation (HGV Licence needed)
- Repairing company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards
- Diagnosis of vehicles using computer based diagnostic equipment
The salary for this position is approximately £45,000 per annum, with overtime and weekend work available if desired. Other benefits include pension, 28 days annual leave, uniform and PPE supplied, onsite parking, and company phone.
