Job Title: Associate Lecturer A

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Lecturer A to join our team at Birkbeck University of London. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Earth Science or a related discipline and demonstrated teaching experience at undergraduate level in the field of structural geology and global tectonics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach undergraduate students in structural geology and global tectonics
  • Develop and deliver curriculum materials for the course
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback
  • Contribute to the development of the department's teaching and research strategy
Requirements:
  • PhD in Earth Science or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated teaching experience at undergraduate level in the field of structural geology and global tectonics
  • Practical experience and research in the general field of structural geology
  • Experience with diverse teaching styles such as blended learning
