Senior Clinical Nurse Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our Emergency Surgical Unit team. As a Band 6 Ward Sister and Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of patient care and management of the unit.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing challenging situations and leading a team to achieve positive outcomes. A degree in a nurse-related specialty is essential, with mentoring or teaching qualifications desirable.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. About the Job:
  • Lead the Emergency Surgical Unit team to deliver high-quality patient care and manage the unit effectively
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Mentor and support junior staff to enhance their skills and confidence
  • Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives

Salary: £43,141 per annum (inclusive of London weighting)
