Job Title: Production Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Technician to join our team at Liverpool John Moores University. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Technician in the preparation and delivery of practical demonstrations, including timetabled sessions, workshops, and demonstrations of production technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of practical demonstrations, including timetabled sessions, workshops, and demonstrations of production technologies.
  • Support the day-to-day running of designated spaces, including the use and booking of specialist kit and facilities.
  • Experience of using video and DSLR cameras, audio recording, portable lighting equipment, and the ability to work in a workshop, studio, or similar environment is necessary for this role.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
