Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Level 3 Primary School Teaching Assistant with SEND - Autism and Personal Care experience to join our team.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will have experience working within Primary Schools and be confident with the Key Stage 1 & 2 curriculum.
  • A minimum Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is required, along with the ability to provide quality support to teachers and pupils.
  • The role involves carrying out small group work and working with individuals under the teacher's planning provided.
  • Maintaining high expectations of learning and behaviour is also essential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support teachers in delivering lessons and activities to pupils.
  2. Work with individual pupils or small groups to enhance their learning and development.
  3. Assist with preparing and maintaining a safe and organised learning environment.
  4. Communicate effectively with teachers, pupils, and other school staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) and autism.
  • Ability to maintain high expectations of learning and behaviour.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing needs.
