Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented PBPK modelling scientist or expert with a DMPK, PBPK, and/or biopharmaceutics modelling background to join our Predictive Technologies PBPK consultancy team.

The successful candidate will contribute to consultancy projects with clients in the Pharmaceutical Industry to develop PBPK models for particular projects of interest.

Responsibilities
  • Develop PBPK models for consultancy projects with clients in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Apply PBPK models in support of various applications, including DDI liability prediction, food effect prediction, PK prediction in special populations, biopharmaceutics/bioequivalence prediction, and large molecule PK prediction.
  • Contribute to consultancy projects with supervision.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific developments in PBPK and IVIVE to enable effective communication with colleagues, clients, and the wider scientific community.
Qualifications
  • PhD degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in the field of IVIVE/drug metabolism/pharmacokinetics.
  • Knowledge of the application of PBPK modelling in the drug discovery and development process.
  • Understanding of IVIVE/drug metabolism/pharmacokinetics.
  • Sound overview of the simulator with good knowledge and understanding of specific areas.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with peers and clients within industry, academia, and regulatory agencies.
