About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Morgan Sindall Property Services. As a key member of our commercial delivery team, you will play a crucial role in the financial control, reporting, and commercial performance management of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the day-to-day financial control, including cash management, timely application, certification, invoicing, and payment.
  • Administer subcontract accounts with care and attention to detail.
  • Work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Quantity Surveyor to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of budgets, forecast management, CVRs, and supplementary financial reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in measurement and valuation, SOR codes, and responsive, cyclical, and planned maintenance.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of measurement and valuation and SOR codes.
  • Good understanding of budgets and forecast management, CVRs, and supplementary financial reports.
  • Competency in IT systems and packages.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
