Job Details

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Landscape Architect position in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This is a permanent role that requires a high level of expertise in landscape and visual impact assessments, feasibility studies, and design concepts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead landscape and visual impact assessments, including Zone of Theoretical Visibility analysis, and prepare planning applications and environmental statements.
  • Develop design concepts for various projects, including large-scale master planning, softworks, and mitigation design.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand and interpret their instructions.
  • Presentation of design concepts to clients, planning officers, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the discharge of landscape-related planning conditions, such as developing landscape management and maintenance plans.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience post chartered.
  • Proven knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, and BNS planting design software.
  • Must have a degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • CMLI is essential.
  • Extensive knowledge of LVIA projects and Landscape Planning.

Salary and Benefits

  • A salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.
  • Car allowance + mileage.
  • 1 day required in office a week.
  • Enhanced holiday starting at 23 days plus the option to buy additional days.
