We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Field Service Technician to join our team at Microlise. As a key member of our field-based team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and supporting our products at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visit customer sites to undertake installation, service, and support of Microlise products
  • Complete survey visits and identify suitable solutions
  • Conduct QA visits on Microlise products and peripherals in customer assets
  • Manage inventory and ensure the upkeep and safety of your vehicle and provided tools/equipment
  • Liaise with customers at all levels and provide support to peers and contractor resources as needed
  • Ensure administration is concise, accurate, and professional, adhering to internal processes and procedures
  • Report on statistical information as required
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role, with expertise in auto electrics and/or telematics
  • Full UK driving license
  • Experience working to Service Level Agreements and Operational Schedules
  • Understanding of vehicle wiring diagrams and ability to interpret these
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional approach
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adjust style to relevant audiences
  • Ability to work autonomously, solve problems independently, and adhere to agreed processes
  • Take pride in work, ensuring quality and accuracy
  • Valid passport for travel
