Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children with autism, mental health difficulties, ADHD, and Down Syndrome in a primary or secondary school setting
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to develop impactful Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Adapting tasks and lessons to meet the needs of children with additional needs, promoting inclusivity and accessibility
  • Fostering a positive and supportive classroom culture, promoting British Values and diversity

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an education setting
  • Transferable skills, such as youth work, childcare, or support work, with a focus on building positive relationships and safeguarding
  • A strong team ethic and ability to work collaboratively
