Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recycling Advisor to join our team in the Leicestershire Area. As a Recycling Advisor, you will play a crucial role in assisting and advising customers on the proper disposal of waste materials at our Recycling and Waste Management Sites (RHWS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist and advise customers on the recycling and disposal of waste materials at all RHWS, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and efficient waste management.
- Ensure that waste streams are properly separated and not mixed, maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
- Maintain compliance with all legislative requirements, including site operating and environmental licenses.
- Communicate effectively with customers, responding to queries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer service and recycling rates, contributing to the achievement of service levels and targeted recycling rates at sites.
Requirements:
- Ability to drive and have a reliable vehicle, as you will be required to cover shifts in other locations within and around Leicestershire.
- Flexibility to work outside of normal working hours, including bank holidays and weekends.
- Ability to work at different locations than your designated base.
- Willingness to attend training courses, conferences, and seminars as required.
Working Hours:
Summer Hours: 9am-7pm (including weekends and bank holidays)
Winter Hours: 9am-4pm (including weekends and bank holidays)
Salary: £11.60 per hour
