Teacher of Mathematics

A cademics' Wandsworth school is seeking a qualified Teacher of Mathematics to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maths education and experience in teaching various levels of maths, from KS3 to Further Mathematics.
The Teacher of Mathematics will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering maths lessons, and assessing student progress. The role involves designing hands-on problem-solving activities, providing constructive feedback, and tracking student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver maths lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Design hands-on problem-solving activities that promote real-world applications of maths.
- Assess student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted support strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve maths education.
Requirements:
- Must hold QTS or PGCE.
- Experience teaching maths, ideally with KS3, Year 11 GCSE students, A Level, and Further Mathematics.
- Dedicated to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
