Greensleeves Care is seeking an experienced Registered Home Support Manager (Peripatetic) to join our dedicated care team. The successful candidate will provide practical and direct support to the home manager and home, ensuring the highest quality of care is provided.

This role requires someone with flexibility who is willing to travel and work a variety of shifts, including occasional weekend shifts.

  • Supporting home in absence of manager
  • Supporting 2 divisions and maintaining regional contact for each Care home
  • Conducting routine Head Office visits across care homes as directed by Divisional Directors
  • Ensuring a stimulated and caring environment is always maintained
  • Overseeing and ensuring the effective delivery of the medicine administration process in line with Greensleeves Care Management of Medicines Policy
  • Ensuring attendance to both mandatory and required training courses, including staff members within a home, is met to maintain skills, knowledge, and competency levels.
  • Supporting the Home Manager to plan and facilitate regular staff meetings: staff supervision establishing an effective communication system, ensuring staff members are kept up to date with necessary information.
  • Providing support and assistance to staff members and ensuring areas of responsibility are maintained, delegating duties to staff as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • RN 1 or 2 with current NMC PIN
  • NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or NVQ Level 4 in Leadership and Management for Care Services or equivalent
  • Previous experience of working with a large multi-site Care Provider within a high-Level Manager capacity
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC standards
  • Working knowledge of Legislation and the Regulatory Framework underpinning practice in relation to the care of older people
  • Full driving license essential
