Job Description:

A 13-month contract opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Insights Specialist to join a leading Automotive client in Surrey.

The successful candidate will be responsible for extracting key trends during the planning and delivery phase of the client's prototype builds, reporting insights using clear and concise visualisation methods.

This role provides a great opportunity to explore and deliver efficiencies within the team processes, falling between Engineering and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Build Engineers in the planning and delivery of early prototype builds via KPI and status reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient operation of the inventory management system.
  • Provide meaningful insights into the status of active and upcoming prototype builds, targeting on-time delivery.
  • Familiarisation of existing team and business processes with a focus on driving continuous improvement.
  • Management of the BOM across each project/prototype, ensuring accuracy and timely updates in parallel to concept design change.
  • Identify operational challenges, driving effective solutions via clear communication and data-driven analytics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data modelling to interpret complex datasets related to project management KPIs, vehicle BOMs and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in various data visualisation and manipulation tools.
  • Experience using SAP products is preferred.
  • Experience within the automotive industry is preferred.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £26.61 per hour (via umbrella), making it an attractive opportunity for those looking to advance their careers in the automotive sector.
