A leading Civil Engineering and Rail Infrastructure Main Contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator for a permanent position near Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator looking to continue their professional development and hone their skills and experience in a rail and civil engineering project environment.
The role will be a blend of both a Quantity Surveyor and Estimating role, working on a long-term, secure framework.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing tender and contract documents
- Performing risk, value management, and cost control
- Managing costs from inception to completion
- Subcontractor management
- Contract administration (NEC forms of contract)
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying
- At least 3+ years' post-graduate experience in Quantity Surveying
- Experience in rail infrastructure, although any civil engineering background will be considered
