Children's Residential Support Worker

As a Break Support Worker, you will be working hands-on with young people living in our children's home. You will be a positive role model, supporting them in overcoming their previous trauma and learning to trust in adults again, with the help and guidance of your colleagues and Break's therapeutic services.
You will encourage new experiences, supporting the young people to develop their own identity. To be successful in this role, you will be a good team player, patient, and able to support those around you. You will also have the emotional intelligence and resilience to manage challenging situations.
You will need to successfully complete an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare before you complete 24 months of Support Work. This will be fully funded by Break and you will be supported by our training team.
Please note that you must have a full, valid, manual driving licence.
