About the Role
We are seeking an experienced AAT qualified or Part ACCA Accountant to join our team in Wellington. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements for a variety of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. You will also be involved in personal and corporate tax compliance work and will have the opportunity to progress and develop in your career with our firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements for clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Be involved in personal and corporate tax compliance work.
- Manage juniors by reviewing bookkeeping work and providing guidance.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be AAT qualified or studying for AAT, ACCA, or other qualifications. You will also have a background in the accountancy practice sector, with at least two to three years of experience preparing year-end accounts, tax, and providing other services for clients. You should be looking to progress within your career and seeking an opportunity within a leading firm of chartered accountants that offers a path to develop.
