We are seeking a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at EdEx. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to gain experience in a supportive and successful primary school.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for SEN and be confident in providing targeted support to pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, Global Delay, and Down Syndrome.

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to manage the classroom, carry out interventions, and deliver programmes tailored to the children's needs.

This role is perfect for graduates looking to start their career in education or individuals passionate about SEN who want to work with specialist staff and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 with SEN and behavioural requirements
  • Use your creativity and imagination to engage pupils and support their learning
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher to manage the classroom and deliver programmes

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in a relevant field
  • Passion for SEN and experience working with children with special needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
