Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading manufacturing business based near Wrexham.
Key Responsibilities- Perform regular maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure equipment efficiency.
- Carry out allocated tasks assigned by the shift supervisor for breakdowns and planned preventative maintenance.
- Collaborate with engineering and factory colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns or plant failures to maintain production continuity.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, operating standards, and company technical requirements.
A recognized Mechanical or Electrical apprenticeship to a minimum equivalent standard of City & Guilds is required, along with knowledge of modern control techniques.
For mechanically biased candidates, safe working knowledge of basic electrical fault finding and lock off/isolation procedures on industrial equipment is essential.
Experience in food or packaging manufacturing is preferred.
