About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to support young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and/or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. As a SEN Tutor, you will work one-to-one with students to help them bridge gaps in their learning, grow in confidence, and consolidate their knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide educational sessions face-to-face with students at their homes or a public space, such as a library or community centre.
  • Plan resources around the student's needs, developing their knowledge in core subjects like Maths, English, and Science.
  • Work with students who may have SEN/SEMH needs or be looked after (LAC).
Requirements
  • Hold QTS or be a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or have SEN/SEMH experience.
  • Be highly engaging and able to build effective working relationships with students.
  • Manage and implement a range of behaviour strategies.
