About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fire Engineer to join our team at Design Fire Consultants Ltd. As a Senior Fire Engineer, you will play a key role in leading projects and managing technical aspects of fire engineering services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead fire engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to deliver exceptional service.
  • Contribute to the development of fire engineering solutions, including fire risk assessments, fire safety strategies, and fire protection systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to maintain expertise and provide guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM field or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrate excellent technical communication skills, with the ability to converse precisely and clearly in English.
  • Have a strong background in fire engineering consulting, preferably within a fire engineering environment.
  • Possess good knowledge of the UK construction industry, including project procurement processes, RIBA stages, and fire engineer roles.
  • Be committed to continuing professional development (CPD) and progressing through the CEng process.
  • Have experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on time management, deliverables, and training junior engineers.
