Transform Digital Policing with Staffordshire Police

Staffordshire Police is seeking a skilled Programme Manager to lead the delivery of critical digital programmes. As a key member of the DDaT team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of local and nationally significant projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the initial escalation point for programmes, removing blockers and managing risks to ensure timely delivery.
  • Liaise with complex stakeholder groups, including 3rd parties, to balance priorities and drive project success.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to colleagues on delivery approaches, promoting a benefit-driven, task-focused delivery proposition.
  • Oversee multiple smaller changes and tasks delivered concurrently, ensuring seamless programme execution.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in programme management best practices, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Technical knowledge and experience in technical programme delivery, with a degree-level education (Level 6) or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in coaching and mentoring.
