Fantastic Opportunity for a Hardware or Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work on the development and maintenance of Arm Architecture products related to virtual memory and system memory architecture. The role involves collaboration with architects, technical leads, engineering teams, and technical writers to design and develop architecture specifications, models, and testing/validation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute to the design and development of Arm architecture products, including authored and machine-readable architecture specifications, models, and testing/validation.
  2. Evaluate the viability of future architecture features and enhancements through modelling, prototyping, and analysis.
  3. Ensure architecture specifications are unambiguous and complete.
  4. Work closely with Arm architects, project managers, technical writers, and the wider team to plan products and transfer knowledge.
  5. Assist in reviewing and maintaining Arm architecture reference manuals and other externally facing documentation.
Requirements:
  • Understanding of processor architecture and software-hardware interaction.
  • Practical working knowledge of virtual memory systems architecture.
  • Ability to use quantitative evidence to reason about and articulate engineering trade-offs.
  • Enthusiasm for growing technical knowledge and working multi-functionally.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences, or Electronic or Electrical Engineering.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Arm Architecture.
  • Knowledge of software modelling.
  • Understanding of file formats and markup languages.
  • Experience collaborating with customers to establish requirements and constraints.
  • Experience with software tooling, testing, and delivery practices.
