About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Ayton House in West Sussex. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising your shift, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise your shift, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care.
  • Case manage residents and liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure that care plans are created and delivered effectively.
  • Administer and record medication, ensuring that our residents receive the correct medication at the right time.
  • Carry out risk assessments, identifying potential risks and taking steps to mitigate them.
  • Work alongside care assistants to support residents with daily needs, ensuring that they remain as active and independent as possible.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop services, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care.
  • Provide a fun, inclusive, and professional approach at all times, ensuring that our residents feel valued and respected.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care (desirable)
  • Be well-organised, IT literate, and adept at allocating and delegating work appropriately.
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise others, ensuring that they are motivated and empowered to deliver excellent care.
  • A good understanding of care planning processes, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care.
  • Be experienced in or happy to undertake training on administering medication, ensuring that our residents receive the correct medication at the right time.
  • Above all, have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling, ensuring that our residents feel valued and respected.
