We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Close Brothers Group. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, validating, and querying disparate datasets generated from various business systems and operational processes.

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience with reporting and data visualization tools such as Business Objects and Tableau, with excellent attention to detail skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and manage scoping, requirements definition, and prioritization activities for small-scale changes and assist with more complex change initiatives.
  • Follow agreed standards and apply appropriate techniques to elicit and document detailed requirements. Provide constructive challenge to stakeholders as required. Review requirements for errors and omissions.
  • Source and prepare data for analysis and perform standard business intelligence analysis activities.
  • Create and deliver standard reports in accordance with stakeholder needs and conforming to agreed standards.
  • Use a visualization product, as guided, to design and create data visuals.
  • Develop, document, and implement changes based on requests for change.
  • Use approved tools and techniques for specific deployment activities.
Requirements
  • You approach problems systematically and objectively, analyze facts, and evaluate options. Draw sound conclusions.
  • You build long-lasting relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • You have a good understanding of how to query data from relational databases using SQL.
  • You have experience with reporting and data visualization tools such as Business Objects and Tableau.
  • You can present insights to and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including senior management.
