About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Finance Manager to join our team at Compass UK & Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong commercial finance experience to drive business results.

The successful candidate will have excellent numeric and analytical skills, as well as exceptional attention to detail. They will also be able to develop and manage complex spreadsheets, and have a strong ability to analyse, evaluate, and present financial information logically.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Support: Partner with senior stakeholders to drive commercial and operational decisions, conduct proactive financial analysis, and manage financial risks.
  • Performance Management: Deliver key business reporting, perform monthly balance sheet reviews, and promote improvements in working capital through accurate billing and debt ledger management.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, supervise and mentor junior team members, and foster career development and business partnering.
