About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Catering Manager to join our team at Bolton Council. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for the overall management of our school catering operation, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency in our service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control the catering service to ensure quality and consistency are maintained at all times.
  • Manage a team of catering staff to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers and comply with nutritional standards.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of catering services.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with excellent leadership and management skills, who is able to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional results. You will have a strong background in food service management, with experience of managing budgets and resources. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
