The Jetty Manager will assist the Harbour Master in managing marine operations at HPC. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, conducting safety exercises, and providing training to staff.

Main Responsibilities

">
  • Organise and conduct regular marine safety exercises.
  • Liaise with onsite contractors and local stakeholders to ensure HPCHA compliance.
  • Liaise with onsite teams and government agencies to ensure HPCHA compliance with regulatory frameworks.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on marine industry best practices.
  • Attend the jetty as required and submit report forms to the Harbour Master.
  • Deputise for the HPCHA Harbour Master in harbour operation management.
  • Act in the absence of the HPCHA Harbour Master under statutory and delegated powers.
  • Support the HPCHA Harbour Master in liaison with adjacent harbours and other navigational stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice on cargo movement by sea.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in harbour marine operations.
  • Demonstrable experience of PMSC compliant marine operations.
  • Previous experience in maritime incident response.
  • Strong IT/computer skills.
  • Ability to undergo nuclear security clearance vetting.

Location and Salary

">

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a competitive salary based on the location and requirements of the role.
