Job Title: Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to lead the implementation of Basel frameworks, particularly focused on Basel III and IV regulations within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the end-to-end implementation of Basel regulations (Basel III/IV), ensuring compliance with capital adequacy, risk management, and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Risk, Finance, Compliance, IT) and external regulators to gather requirements, set expectations, and ensure successful delivery of Basel-related projects.
  • Conduct detailed analysis to identify the impact of Basel requirements on various business units, processes, and systems.
  • Develop clear business cases and functional specifications.
  • Lead multiple Basel-related projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful and timely delivery of all regulatory milestones.
  • Oversee the creation and validation of regulatory reports to ensure accuracy and alignment with Basel standards.
  • Analyze and propose improvements in internal processes and systems to optimize Basel compliance and reduce operational risks.
  • Work closely with Risk and Finance teams to ensure proper risk calculation, stress testing, and reporting aligned with Basel regulations.
  • Provide guidance and training to teams on Basel implementation, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and processes are followed correctly.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of Basel regulatory frameworks (Basel II, III, IV), with hands-on experience implementing these within financial institutions.
  • Solid experience working in banking, investment, or financial services sectors, particularly in roles related to risk management, regulatory compliance, or capital adequacy.
  • Proven track record in project management, with the ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear, actionable business and functional requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
  • Familiarity with risk management systems, data warehousing, and reporting tools.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with global banking regulatory requirements and capital adequacy regulations.
  • Previous experience in managing large-scale regulatory change projects within a financial institution.
  • Hands-on experience with stress testing, liquidity coverage ratio (LCR), and net stable funding ratio (NSFR) reporting.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools (e.g., SAS, Moody's, or similar platforms).
