Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at a national UK charity. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional personal care and attention to residents, adhering to individual care plans and promoting a warm and supportive environment.
  • Act as a key worker for a named group of residents, ensuring their needs are met and their care plans are implemented.
  • Participate in the formulation and maintenance of individual care plans, administering medication as prescribed and maintaining accurate records.
  • Supervise and support the care team, promoting a culture of trust, respect, and care, and ensuring each team member treats residents with dignity and respect.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of experience working in a social care environment.
  • Hold a NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience with medication administration.
  • Supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to develop new skills and contribute to the growth and development of the care team.
