Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Care Professional Lead to join our team, overseeing mental health social care staff in community teams and contributing to service development and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in mental health services and must be a qualified AMHP. As the AMHP Professional Lead, they will have oversight of all AMHP operations and procedures in line with the National AMHP Service Standards.

The role involves managing performance in relation to key indicators, working closely with internal and external partners and stakeholders to effect change and deliver an integrated approach within the current climate of financial challenge across the public sector.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position based on a 5-day working pattern, Monday-Friday, with standby/on-call manager duty for the AMHP Service, 6-8 weekly.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, drive, and motivation, with a proven track record in mental health services. They will be required to embed continuous improvement, contribute to AMHP developments at a local, regional, and national level, and work effectively with internal and external partners to deliver an integrated approach.
