Environmental Strategist

Sibelco Asia Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Environmental Strategist to join our team in Preston Manor. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the management of planning applications, environmental permitting, monitoring, and compliance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and assisting in planning applications for new mineral and waste sites, alongside secondary consenting and environmental permitting processes. Additionally, they will project manage the coordination of EIAs of mineral and waste developments using a range of consultants in accordance with the company's procedures.

• Manage and assist in planning applications for new mineral and waste sites.
• Project manage the coordination of EIAs of mineral and waste developments.
• Coordinate the management of Sibelco's Environmental Compliance monitoring covering planning, waste, water, and environmental emissions management.
• Participate in external and internal audits in relation to environmental compliance.
• Promote strategic land assets within Local Development Plans.

You will work closely with local planning authorities to promote sites and discuss development proposals, and engage with stakeholders to develop relationships and participate in local liaison events at UK sites.
