Electrical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Wienerberger, a leading international provider of building materials and infrastructure solutions, is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Hartlebury site in Worcestershire.

About the Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment. This is a varied and dynamic role that will give you the opportunity to use your electrical skills and experience to install, maintain, and repair electrical and electro-mechanical plant equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain all electrical and electro-mechanical plant equipment and machinery
  • Operate a preventative electrical maintenance system
  • Program Siemens and other programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
  • Use various types of testing equipment to locate and remedy faults
  • Adhere to Wienerberger's quality system and standards in accordance with BSEN ISO 9001
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern rotating between days and nights, and 5 additional days per year covering team holidays. Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum Level 3 qualification in an Electrical Engineering discipline, experience of working in a manufacturing/factory environment, and knowledge of PLCs, diagnostics of electrical motors and pneumatics, and 17th/18th edition qualifications.
