Job Description:

The Field Service Engineer role is available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of forklift trucks. This is an ideal role for Vehicle Technicians looking for a new industry in a local field-based position, offering comprehensive on-the-job training, an extensive benefits package, and progression routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and associated equipment
  2. Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
  3. Complete comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment
  4. Spares placed in van overnight

Requirements:

  1. Experience with plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, or similar equipment
  2. Automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
  3. Engine diagnostics and some basic electrical skills
