We are seeking a dedicated Disability Support Specialist to join our team at BeBee Professionals.
Job Summary:This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. As a Disability Support Specialist, you will provide daily living support, implement care plans, and facilitate community outings.
Responsibilities:- Support Daily Activities: Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Develop and Implement Care Plans: Create personalized care plans, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
- Facilitate Social Interactions: Organize and participate in community outings, social events, and activities that promote engagement and socialization.
- A high school diploma is required; certification in healthcare or social work is an asset.
- Experience working in a support role for individuals with disabilities is beneficial.
- Essential Skills: Empathy, patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
- A competitive salary of $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
