About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Specialist to join our Adult Mental Health Ward at The Redwoods Centre, Shrewsbury. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services to patients and their families, while also providing managerial and clinical supervision to other team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Working on an identified adult mental health ward, with the flexibility of working across wards, dependent on skill and service need.
- Delivering high-quality clinical services to patients and their families, including therapeutic interventions and care planning.
- Providing managerial and clinical supervision to other team members, including student practice assessors.
- Managing the clinical area in the absence of the ward manager and quality lead.
- Implementing agreed monitoring of effectiveness of care, in accordance with the essence of care guidance.
Requirements
- Registered mental health professional (NMC)
- Post-registration course/s at degree or diploma level
- Registered student practice supervisor and assessor
- Leadership qualification (desirable)
